Kyrie wants to be there, but he wants to be the coach, GM, and owner. As a Laker fan I’m looking forward to AD leading my team in many future seasons. No way I want Kyrie or KD. All it takes is a little issue and KD takes his ball and goes home pouting. Kyrie will always have his head in outer space although he likely believe space is a delusion caused by reflections!!! Kyrie could decide to not play because of any reason that has nothing to do with the game or anything he can do to effect that issue!!!!

AD had the last few years to start leading. He wasn’t a leader in NO, he not a leader in LA and he wont suddenly become a leader when Lebron leaves.

They gone need it because they ain’t getting any other help besides Westbrook

    • blablablaa

      July 16, 2022 at 5:21 am

Its draft picks for like 2027-2029 and such. This isn’t an immediate loss but then your team is screwed if you are bad (cause lebron retired or left) and you don’t even have the draft picks

The Lakers are in such a bad situation that they have to trade for Kyrie that doesn’t have any Laker trait in them and hoping his talent is the gamble. 1st it was Boston, then Nets. 3rd time is not the charm hopefully, if we even get Kyrie at all

      July 14, 2022 at 10:29 pm

Considering Kobe was his idol/mentor , I don’t think Kyrie would disrespect the franchise his idol was on. Also considering Kyrie lost a lot of money last year and is also on a prove it deal right now being on a one year deal. Kyrie is many things , but he isn’t stupid , he has to have a good year , to get that long term deal he wants .

    July 14, 2022 at 7:53 pm

This was very interesting! If you think about it what they are getting at is that KD is not really tradable because it would take too much from the other side. Too many assets to get him. And AD and Kyrie are too inconsistent for teams to want to take the chance on them. However, I do think that if KD and Kyrie went to the Lakers with Lebron that they would be a very competitive team. I also think that KD and Kyrie actually want to be in the same place and that they are in collusion together. (just my humble opinion) This seems to coincidental I just read today in the news that Kyrie never really said he wanted to be traded per his agent as he opted in. And that KD wants out because he feels that Kyrie was disrespected etc. This was reported in the news. I do not know. What does anyone out there think about this? Do you think KD and Kyrie are working together behind closed doors. KD has to know the market and that it would take a lot to make a trade happen and if he went some place they might have to gut the team to get him and then where he goes will not be competitive.

    July 14, 2022 at 8:25 pm

That trade would work if Kyrie wasn’t included. That’s the price just for KD. Lakers don’t want Russ anyways. AD stays injured

  13. Mr. Nevs

    July 14, 2022 at 8:53 pm

Irving for ad trade would be beautiful for nets. KD, Simmons, and AD gives that team a lot length in the guard and forward positions.

However it doesn’t work for the Lakers since they can’t get off my guy Westbrook (overly criticized for having stats consistent with his career numbers, but with less shot attempts).

Tatum played more minutes in the playoffs than Kyrie played the entire season….idk why Jalen eyes wide when Jacoby bring up his lack of availability.

Anthony Davis for Kyrie, that’s not on table. πŸ™…

  16. M A K O

    July 15, 2022 at 12:30 am

What the nets are going to do, and would be smart to do is to try and trade Kari for the best possible player they can. That includes a player of the calibre of Anthony Davis or call Anthony towns or even a young star. If they can package that get back so Anthony Davis some veterans good shooting pair that with Ben Simmons I think they may be appeal to KD to stay. That’s the best play

    • blablablaa

      July 16, 2022 at 5:19 am

29 teams in the NBA don’t want Kyrie. That include the Nets. His trade value is zero

3 Team Trade: Spurs get Russell Westbrook, Nets get AD & a boatload of picks from the Spurs as well as both Lakers 1st rounders that are available, Lakers get Kyrie & KD. – It’ll never happen, but just imagine if it did. Who’s gonna stop KD, Kyrie & LeBron if they’re healthy & available? Fookin’ nobody.

Why did Jalen blow off that Westbrook and AD trade???? Literally NOBODY has offered a player as good as AD to Brooklyn, but the Suns are who the media has been pushing until the Ayton news. Deandre Ayton isn’t better than AD!!! Westbrook just had his worst season and still put up 19pts, 7rebs, 7ast. Bridges just had his best season and put up 13pts, 5rebs, and 3ast.Β Brooklyn already said they want stars to stay ahead of the Knicks so this is the best trade that anybody can offer. A healthy KD and Kyrie just got swept out the 1st round but Jalen will only trade him for Ayton or comic book hero Superman??? 5yrs agoΒ Jalen was ok with KD joining a big 3 that just went 73-9 to make a Big 4 all in their prime, but is against KD joining a 40 win team lead by a 38yr old dude. GTFOH.

    • Fawwaz Oganla

      July 16, 2022 at 10:46 am

The trade is actually bad for the nets lol, AD isn’t even on the same level as KD

  22. The Roots Connection

    July 15, 2022 at 12:55 pm

Nah. That AD for KD deal would be REAL! AD & whatever Ben simmons is in Bklyn you can sell that

  23. Mec

    July 15, 2022 at 3:17 pm

KD is not about chemistry, which was already solid at GSW before he arrived. Chemistry is gold! You simply can’t integrate a superstar with no concept of team chemistry and make it work, anywhere.

  24. blablablaa

    July 16, 2022 at 5:18 am

Jalen is like the worst GM ever hahahah

  25. Gdjay Bee

C’mon guys this trade is super disrespectful for Austin Reaves on all levels. The trade talks should have been only Austin Reaves straight up for both KD and Kyrie. THAT’s A FARE trade.
