It’s nice that he keeps to expand his shooting, would be really good if he could improve it as far as to him being able to hit it consistantly in the postseason next season cuz it’s the only thing that always held him back a little

      August 31, 2025 at 11:30 am

Do you guys just ignore every game he shoots well and only focus on when he doesn’t, which hasn’t even happened this whole tournament, to regurgitate this tired narrative

I don’t know what your problem is rn I just said it’s cool that he keeps improving his shooting cuz I was watching Bucks vs the Pacers in the postseason and Giannis midrange was not hitting the same way he did in the regular season cuz he quite frankly wasn’t that confident anymore in his shot anymore

You just getting mad for no reason

@@RealMrSmileLol did he not shoot about 65% or so that entire series? Shot solid from the line as well. High level midrange shooter all season, and the only 30/60 player in history for two nba seasons in a row. Like obviously that should be acknowledged as more than enough. But instead of credit where credit is due, we’d rather spend more time talking about how he needs to “shoot better”, or change from cherry-picked flaws, and more crackhead criticism. If only people highlighted flaws in players who don’t defend, or aren’t in good shape in like fashion to Giannis not shooting like Kyle Korver

@@RealMrSmileI’m not angry with you but the Bucks did not lose the Pacers series because of Giannis. In any way, shape, or form. They had two starters combine for a doughnut in a real life playoff game and you’re saying Giannis’ midrange held him and his team back. A series he averaged 33+ in on 65% from the field??? You don’t see how ridiculous and pathetic his standards are? If you’re going to put his bar that high his credit needs to be unparalleled also

      @@Cell9074
That’s a cool logic until you look at what actually happened and realise that you are wrong

He shoot 65% cuz his best shots came from the rim where he was as good as always, he was 47/61 from 5 feet or less which is an amazing 77% but when you look at midrange he was bad

From 10 feet and beyond that he was 13/38 for that whole series which is not only low volume but even the shots he did shoot he was not hitting well

And of course Giannis didn’t have a good team and I am not blaming him much but especially game 5 was absolutely winnable not only considering the lead they blew at the end in such short time but also with how close the game was if Giannis had a real midrange in the postseason he definitely could have brought the series past 5 games, his midrange tho was just not a real playoff factor yet

@@Cell9074 You must be new to the NBA. Plenty of people and analysts put Jokic, Luka, Shai, and sometimes even Curry, above Giannis.

Which is a fair take but Giannis also outscored all of those guys while being an amazing defender. In fact he outscored ALL NBA players, as he’s the highest scoring player in the last decade@@REDRAGON12345

  9. @Game7Basketball

FIBA Giannis is basically a cheat code. Smaller court + no defensive 3 seconds should clog the paint… and he still lives at the rim, then flips to short-roll playmaker when teams wall up. 27 in 25 is the tell—he bends the floor on both ends and turns rebounds into layups before you can set coverage
