   Its easier to find AD than Luka.. Thats why u dont trade Luka.. AD is like Patrick Ewing great players , HOF level, 2 way player, can do anything for the team… But you dont trade MJ for Ewinf for whatever reason. MJ can drink can gamble whatever you dont trade MJ tp Ewing…

    As a Mavs fan, im gonna try my best to be positive here.

    Firstly, this can allow AD to get surgery now, it also means none of our other injuries (Hardy, Martin, Gafford. Lively II,) need to be rushed now to push for 6th seed. This can allow us to tank this year and get a chance. A small one but a chance at a guy like Cooper Flagg, Ace Bailey, VJ Edgecombe just to name a few. I mean last year the Hawks were 36-46 and got the 1st Overall Pick just to show its possible. I see the Mavs finishing with around 35-40 wins now with Kyrie gone and the other guys who are injured probably not playing anymore. Your also in a situation where if you pick like 9th and don’t see a player you love, that could be used as trade value for a KD trade that’s really been getting pushed to happen this off season. Maybe they try and from a mini super team now like with as their starters:
    Kyrie
    Edgecombe
    Durant
    Davis
    Gafford

    And then your bench and extras:
    Dinwiddie
    Lively II
    Christie
    Washington
    Thompson
    Martin
    Prosper
    Hardy
    Marshall

    I mean this is a super deep team we could realistically have by next season. Now you can probably subtract 2 of like Washington, Gafford, Marshall, Thompson for salary reasons if we did trade for KD. But still an amazing team. P.S: If the Mavs somehow got Cooper Flagg, the Luka/AD trade is an automatic W. He with Luka wouldn’t have any chance to be that bad this season. You also look at this roster excluding all these what ifs. I mean in my opinion this is the most well rounded team in the NBA. you got as your starters:
    Irving
    Christie
    Washington
    Davis
    Gafford

    Our bench:
    Dinwiddie
    Martin
    Lively II
    Marshall
    Thompson
    Prosper
    Hardy

    No, but you can see histories and reality on top of medical reports and know you’re trading for a guy with a huuuuge injury history (AD) and relying heavily on another (Kyrie), both of whom are more than 5 years older than Luka. Play stupid games…
