Anybody who’s been paying attention can see there’s been some egregiously shady officiating for the Grizzlies this season and it’s almost certainly because they feel “disrespected” by Ja. They got the green light from the commish because Ja definitely did actually disrespect him… but you can’t just punish a whole team for one guy being addicted to flashing guns whenever there’s an instagram live within a 50 yard radius of him.

Inexcusable. These refs need to be held accountable.

The NBA should copy the FIBA rule on timeouts. Only when the play is stopped. It is a way better rule and it works well. Live ball timeouts lead to problems. If you ref especially with a crowd cheering, the coach yelling, players sometimes calling for time out even when their team doesn’t control the ball, it is very hard to get that right. The FIBA rule same as in the Olympics is much better.

They are lucky Coach Taylor Jenkins did not start choking that ref.

Clarkeโ€™s defense on that last play completely threw off Houstonโ€™s entire offense
