     Gretzky is by far the greatest. Yes, Ovechkin had more goals but Gretzky has over 1,000 more assists and 900 more total points. Not to mention 4 Cups vs. 1, 9 MVP’s vs 3 and 10 scoring titles vs. 1

     Most goals doesn’t make you the goat. Stat for stat, the great one stands tall. No disrespect to Ovie. Phenomenal career. He deserves all his flowers. 99 is still #1 though.
