They should never have taken away the tough defensive game, so they opened up space for kids like Shai and his group to draw fouls by diving or making minimal contact… you’re only realizing now what a mess it was to accept the new rules… that’s why FIBA didn’t change those rules, so as not to open up the game to kids.

People talking about dirty basketball should watch the Detroit Pistons “Bad Boy” era… Bill Laimbeer, Rick Mahorn, Dennis Rodman etc… those dudes at that time were throwing elbows and pushing players down mid air and throwing punches for fun during the game… ask Michael Jordan Lol this NBA game today is soft as the three point shot selections that have taken over the game vs the mid range and baseline game battles from before these soft times Lol
