fr we were robbed of shaq postgame interview with jokic every win

Was watching the post game interviews the other day, and one of his teammates mentioned that Jokic doesn’t even really try in training – that he only really pulls out all the big plays in actual game.

Made me wonder… as amazing as he obv already is, just how high his skill ceiling could actually be.

He really could be something other worldly if he had the huger to keep pushing himself and his game, but he’s just happy to casually break all time play off records and go home to his horses… 🤷‍♂️

I think there are pros and cons about the way if he really practice like that.
One obv pro is that his body is not really being pushed or grinded out by an intense training
But obviously the cons is he doesn’t reach his peak of ability or physique yet.

Jokic and Murray has been Insane and both deserve alot of credits for sure, but lets give some credit to Aaron Gordon. This guy has been defending Edwards/Kat, Booker/KD, Lebron and Jimmy in the NBA finals. You can clearly see every1 was struggling against him. The screens he was putting for Murray so he can easily pass by defenders. WP sir and Congratz to Denver.

Forget Kobe, MJ, LeGoat James, understand GOAT just won a ring and don’t need the credit.

i just have one question, do you think Jokić could get better?

  21. Xavi

    June 13, 2023 at 11:28 pm

Don’t forget that these passes are tailored to the individual receiver’s ability. The Gordon one’s especially. Jokic knows exactly where Gordon can grab the ball and precisely passes to that point. It’s just beautiful basketball.

Jokic put up the greatest playoff performance I’ve seen since Shaq in 99-00

Screen and roll then find a cutter. Screen and roll then find an open shooter. It is hard to defend something so fluid like this.

I think the underrated aspect of Jokic’s assists is the ability of his teammates to actually finish his passes. Especially Aaron Gordon. Having a teammate that can finish in a variety of ways at the basket is just as important as a good passer.

I am 19 mins in. The dunks, layups and open 3s are still going on. This dude just generates easy offense in the playoffs. In terms of offensive skill, this guy is too close to the top.

  34. Quinisha Williams

    June 14, 2023 at 9:40 am

When you have that many assist that shows leadership and creating plays for the team to get involved. I have never seen anybody play team basketball like this and still come out as the star.

  35. Quinisha Williams

    June 14, 2023 at 9:54 am

This is team basketball. Jokic passing and teammates able to finish. You have to play defense to stop something like this……..which the NBA stopped doing long ago. If the NBA doesn’t go back to playing defense the Nuggets will win championships for the next 10 years.
