     He put his arms up because it shouldn’t have been a 2 on 1 situation which forced him to defend the best player on the Hawks team and leave someone open under the basket. Leaving Trae open would be a guaranteed bucket. Defending him with OGs skill had a higher chance of deflecting a pass or forcing a low percentage shot from Trae.
