The Pacers organization needs to create a bubble around Haliburton. The Pacers can only win if he continues his unselfish play. It’s interesting to go back and see how they affected Bron. Next game, I hope Siakam plays like Diaw.

Haliburton is on and off with his offense. Is he good? Absolutely. When you think of a superstar however, a superstar is able to impose their will night in and night out offensively. It doesn’t mean 100% of the time, it just means like 90-95% of the time they have their way. Personally the player i think that is big time on their roster is Siakam.

Let’s talk about sga sitting the rest of 4th quarter when they lose game 3 vs wolves with his 14pts. πŸ˜‚

The Knicks could definitely push for a game 7 if they got physical with this Pacers team. The pacers are soft with the exception of that other guy with the fake belt. But yeah, apply pressure ala 2016.

What superstars are you talking about, in this finals, there is only one superstar, SGA. The other superstars where eliminated in first or second round. Teams wins championships, not superstars.

Stephen A don’t know basketball. Hali had one bad game. Brunson lost you guys game 2 with that crappy shot he took. When you are conditioned to talk about 2 teams. It makes sense to be deluded.

Stephen A has his head far up his you know what. This dude is surrounded by yes men and that has created an ego. This dude is nothing but a reporter when it comes to basketball and his opinion on what makes a superstar holds no weight.

    May 30, 2025 at 7:57 pm

Haliburton is just a bigger CP3. That’s it.

  17. @garedalbano3380

    May 30, 2025 at 7:57 pm

Hali not a superstar yet, but it may not be good for the team if he reaches it. That means more shot attempts for a PG even on a bad night, no intention to pass the ball and forces his way to shoot.

Though in a team, there should be one Superstar, a go-to player to score. Then complement him with an excellent all around player. (MJ and Pip, Steph and Dray)

It may he very difficult if only one player is almost doing it all, you may win one or never win at all.

    (Jokic, Giannis, Harden, Wesbrook.. )

I agree. Superstar is mostly a reliable scorer. Can score whatever he wants. Their team just reminds me of the Miami Heat with Butler. Just the difference is the pace because they play faster and the rebounds because they got Miles Turner, Siakam, and Obi toppin.

He’s a so so player for me, nothing spectacular or special. I find Ant, Brunson and also Reaves are better imo.

A superstar is someone with a lot of jersey sells you will see fans across the world wearing the jersey he not there yet but I love his game

32 points, 15 assists, and 12 rebounds, in the Eastern conference finals, is not something a star does, it’s what a SUPERSTAR does. People need to respect the man and give him his flowers!
