Carlisle coached Brunson, he knows exactly how to stop Brunson from scoring.

@@eSmokEmtrue but Carlisle is able to put the Pacers in a position where Brunson has to foul whoever he’s guarding, due to him being a defensive liability.

JB is not @ Villanova anymore and until the Knicks see that he can’t be a high usage guy while getting others involved they will continue to suffer in the BIG games

Carlisle excels with non-superstars. He keeps the ball moving and likes guard play a lot. This is his perfect team. Insert a superstar and they run Carlisle out of town like Dallas. Luka should have fought to keep Carlisle but is most likely the reason for him leaving..

OKC vs pacers about to be a barn burner of a series. Both play with pace, multiple scorers can shine on any night, OKC better defensively but pacers excel more offensively. I don’t care about the narratives or oh my god no one will watch. This series is going to be fantastic and I can’t wait. Box out hali doesn’t matter. Everyone runs.

As a Knick fan, this is all Thibs inability to adjust to the modern game and to develop depth, quality depth and two-way players are the number one and two things needed to be a championship team nowadays, and he didn’t develop that at all. Now he is showing is that he has guys, he could’ve been playing them, conditioning them, etc. he didn’t, hindsight is 20/20, last year should have been his hindsight.

It’s probably fair to say that the Pacers are the most well coached team in the league. They don’t have a dominant scorer like the other playoff teams, they do it by being organized.
