I don’t think GSW are contenders. Those winning streaks they had were against lower tier teams. They depend too much on Steph Curry for success and he is not having his best year. Nevertheless, with Steph Curry in the roster there will always be a sliver of hope.

Lakers beats the warriors in 5-6 games. Warriors beat the lakers BARELY when they had one of their best shooting games as a team all season.

GS loss to the spurs is a perfect example of how they fell off after that 12-3 start to the season. If you go and watch those next 15 games after that start, there clutch time turnovers sky rocketed. Throwing the ball away… that’s what it comes down to. Curry is by far our best player but his play in the clutch has declined significantly this year. Perfect example is the inbound pass to JB against SA, threw it at his feet and costed a crucial turnover. Jacking up pull up threes when we should be going to screening actions with multiple scoring options (that’s our bread and butter). It comes down to taking care of the ball in the clutch, we have been brutal at this all season. God forbid GS have to play a clutch game in the play in.

It doesn’t matter, play in or playoffs as long as the warriors are at full strength they can beat anybody in the west anywhere. Home court doesn’t matter the championship dna is strong. Jimmy get buckets is pacing himself for the playoffs as always he does. Play in or play offs the warriors will come out and play when the time comes. Home court doesn’t matter it’s all about being healthy at this point
