Dissecting Kyrie Irving’s comments: Did he disrespect two teammates? Was he correct? | The Jump

Published

on

Rachel Nichols, Richard Jefferson and Tracy McGrady react to Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving saying the team’s needs are “glaring” in a postgame press conference, and debate whether he disrespected his teammates — two of them in particular — when he name-checked Kevin Durant and others but left them out. They then (4:48) react to the latest Eastern Conference NBA All-Star Game voting numbers, and whether Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young deserves to start.

Man can the media drop this notion that Kyrie is “smart” or “intelligent”, someone who thinks the Earth is flat isn’t smart….

Richard Jefferson is a true sell out. How you gonna justify Kyrie words and then try to retract. The nets with KD have more than enough also Trae young deserves to be an all star. If you ask me Kyrie and any other player who miss that much games don’t

In a world dominated by stats, it is ironic that all gets highlighted is Kyrie’s awful team and leadership skills.

The nets should give the leadership role to someone else and keep Kyrie away from the mic. Everyone expects him to lead but the glaring truth is thay he is just a scorer. Let him use his skills and not his mouth.

If he couldn’t make it won’t in Boston he can’t make it work in Brooklyn, just accept it Kyrie Jenner fans, your favorite player is just a weapon and that’s it.

Kyrie is a baller but he’ll kill his teammate’s morale. Please keep to yourself. And tell it off-camera. You’re just getting targeted by the media more.

WHY DOES EVERYONE ACT LIKE KD SPRAINED AN ANKLE!?!?

One guy in history has come back from that Achilles injury. Nique, and he was Lebronesque in his durability and athleticism. KD had a long history of injury before the rupture. He’s done as a superstar. DONE.

The fall of super teams last season exposed some of these “super stars” Kyrie and others don’t wanna compete

should trade kyrie for a guy who can actually lead a team. having 2 soft players who r supposed to lead ur team (aka kyrie and KD)??? not gonna work very well. they need jordan to keep this team together.
