Booker is more like Clyde Drexler, he’s not sniffing All Defensive 1st team, Mamba Mentality requires both ends of the floor

If u look up the stats Middleton and holiday had their lowest fg% when guarded by book. He’s not the greatest defender nor as good as Kobe but he does play both ends.

Idk why everyone hating on book, because they say he plays a similar way to Kobe? At the end of the day he’s a top elite scorer who plays with heart and well spoken without drama but yet y’all in the comment section of YouTube, Twitter, etc just like to pick on him for no reason.

Booker 42% in this day & age wow that was so terrible, that’s like %30 shooting in the 90s

Kobe would have not went out like this.

      July 21, 2021 at 2:55 pm

I remember game 7 against the Celtics he had a horrible game mind you he had a broken finger and bad knees, but one thing kobe did was do the little things that didn’t show on the court, also had 15 rebounds and played defense actually kept rondo In check at times had ray Allen or Paul pierce on him.

People said cp3 is the point god. Not cp3.
People said book is Kobe. Not Book.
Don’t hold them personal to these statements

Mamba Mentality!?!? Did they not see how many times they either shut down Booker or stole the ball from him? Or his inconsistency? With a mamba mentality I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to take over offensively & “kill” your opponent & shut them down defensively. I’m pretty sure I’m describing Greek Freak

lmfao that’s not mentality. that’s just pure work on the basketball 🙌😩let’s be honest giannis just don’t care he’s definitely dominant and a defensive beast but i don’t think mamba mentality suited to him booker has that kobesk vibe and i can see the comparison same with kyrie was in 2016 then he got a diva attitude

Booker 📚 should team up wit
    The legendary Lebron James! 😎😎

  11. ohhh yeahhh

    July 21, 2021 at 3:02 pm

These guys are just I don’t know tripping, booker does not p.ay like kobe, he doesn’t have the foot work or plays great defense, has kobe had games in the post season that were bad sure, but he came back with a vengeance, game 7 kobe had a horrible game on defense against against big 4 that made lebron run between his tails out of cle, and what did kobe do? Do the little things that don’t. One out on a stat sheet the hustle plays a, mind you kobe had a bad knee and a broken shooting finger, not on.y that he played defense, he didn’t allow rondo to go on fast breaks or cut for lay ups or asts, but the most important thing is that he snatched up 15 rebounds. Booker doesn’t play defense is a solid offensive players but no defense. Will book get better from this sure but I don’t see kobe in him, Tatum is more kobe then booker is kobe.

Some people in these comments are complete casuals when it comes to team sports and it shows. They don’t understand how a career progresses and what lessons you have to learn along the way. History allows us to forget the lessons the stars had to learn to acheive their greatness. MJ, Lebron, KD, Giannis, all these all timers went through times where people questioned if they had winning intangibles. Booker was destined to lose these finals and he will be a monster for years to come because of it
