    • @aighty7216

      September 17, 2025 at 8:55 pm

Imma be real that is simply not true. Dennis was the best player on the team on average across the tournament and the leader but it was by no means a 1 man show. The quality of the overall german team has just improved alot, like Franz if it werent for the injury could have been an all star. Dirk had literally 0 other NBA players next to him on the court in his national games. Im pretty sure he only ever had one somewhat notable one for only 2 tournaments.

Like in 2002 Dirk managed to get germany 3rd while being the only Nba player on a roster full of door dashes.

@aighty7216 Both Dirk and Schroder are great. I don’t think anyone is calling the German team a one man show. At the end of the day it’s all about getting the W for team Germany and Schroder did a great job leading the team. MVP was well deserved. 👏

Shredder is a great NBA player. He was only unfortunate to fumble that bag, then fumble his playoffs performance the same year, hence having a low/weak reputation. But in reality, he’s a good player. Contending teams should be gunning for him, especially Bucks with weak pg.
