When Kawhi hurt his ankle and later quad on the same leg, people said there was no correlation. Kawhi was faking. I say there is clearly a correlation when you change the way you use that injured let and put stress on other muscles.

AN ACHILLES TAKES A MINIMUM OF 2-3 YEARS TO FULLY RECOVER NOT 1. THIS IS SIMPLE:
WHEN THE ACHILLES IS NOT 100%, EVERY TIME A PLAYER RUNS ON IT, THE KNEE HAS TO SUPPORT THE IMPACT ITS NOT DESIGNED TO DO. ONCE THE KNEE TAKES EXCESSIVE IMPACT, THE HIP IS FORCED TO COMPENSATE. THIS IS SIMPLE STUFF AND I WOULD HOLD THE TEAM TRAINER AND HIS AGENT ACCOUNTABLE FOR NOT RECTIFYING THIS EARLIER. NOW HE WOULD HAVE TO CERTAINLY SETUP FOR 2-3 YEARS AND AT THE MOST HE MAY GET LUCKY TO GET A YEAR DEAL OR CAREER COULD BE OVER.

Even if he does, the bigger question is how long before the next injury. His injury might be due to consciously or unconsciously favoring other parts of the body due to previous injury.
His remaining years will be productivity as a sixth man. Major injuries that close in time together is not a good sign. If not Golden State, there will be other contenders calling next year for a low price.
