The interesting thing about DJ is that he doesn’t really have a superpower or some real go-to strength like many star players do, he just does most things really well – great natural athleticism, great rebounder, great meat-and-potatoes playmaker, great lengthy defender, good driver/finisher, improving mid-range shooter, great leader/person. It’s not like he’s got Tony’s driving/scoring or Manu’s gifted flair, he’s just let the Spurs coaching staff mold him into the best version of himself that he can be like Kawhi did, and he’s become an excellent read-and-react player with the right skill for the right time. Just goes to show, doing that consistently at a truly elite level is really what you need to succeed and thrive in the NBA.

I think his mid range is automatic maybe saying him improving his all around shot creation is the way to put it he is 25 but this is his first year as the leader and our guy he’ll get better
