   Excellence at the highest level should mean playing defense too. Frustrating how some of these guys and media just ignore it completely at All Star, makes it unwatchable. 😴

   This is great. Dave was always great with athletes b/c you could see how he admired them. Love that he tells Reggie he wouldn’t be a call back now…..

   Used to sneak into the basement late on school nights to catch Letterman. In those days, also used to love pulling for Reggie’s Larry Bird coached Pacers. Jalen, Rik, Travis Best, Mully, Antonio and Dale. Ultimately some real postseason heartache but also some thrills on the way there.

    I used to program my vcr to record Dave’s show in the 80’s… high school years. The only late night show that was actually “cool” to watch… to this day.
