Drue was above and beyond in this game. Celtics were moving the ball like it was a ballet. Luke was the recipient of the sweet passes. Porzingas vs Sochan match up, no contest. Spurs worked hard but outgunned here.

Luke Kornet is turning into one of the most reliable backup bigs in the league. Remember when he was just “big bird” that we got from the bulls just to have a guy over 6’9 on the team when Theis was doing his best at center being like 6’8 and drawing fouls left and right, and then cut himlike twice and had him on the Maine Celtics back and forth? Queta does have a gift for grabbing rebounds though. Kornet is still better overall but if Queta can become as good of a scorer while grabbing those rebounds, he might become the preferred option eventually

Boards: Horford 6.1 -Kornet 5.6
Horford shoots at 41%
Kornet shoots at 68%
Those are great numbers for just 18 minutes per game, while the other bigs get rest. I don’t care what others think, Luke Kornet is a big part of this team and why they win so many games.

Jayson Tatum passing abilities has improved so much. His physicality is very durable and reliable like a Toyota. Never broke down. Celtics is lucky to have such a rare athlete.

Yeah it’s less fun, but more so the Celtics just shoot sooo many threes. Most teams out there shoot way less threes but it’s still a lot overall.

When we have Kornet and Porzingis both in the lineup, that is such a nightmare for teams to defend. Even though Luke Kornet doesn’t shoot them, I’m pretty sure he set the NCAA record for most 3pt by a 7 footer in college
