Donovan Mitchell contributed a team-high 26 points to go with 7 assists 6 three pointers and 3 rebounds, with Evan Mobley of the Cavaliers adding an additional 25 points (10-13 FG, 4-6 3P) and 12 rebounds in the game. Devin Vassell finished with a team-high 24 points along with 6 three pointers for the Spurs in the losing effort. The Cavaliers improve their record to 62-15 with the win, while the Spurs fall to 32-45 for the season. The Spurs’ next game is Sunday, 4/6/2025, against the Trail Blazers on the road (6:00 PM ET, KUNP / KATU 2.2/FanDuel Sports Network – Southwest), while the Cavaliers head home to take on the Kings on Sunday, 4/6/2025, (6:00 PM ET, NBA TV).

If you don’t still think the NBA is fixed…Go watch the last 10 minutes of this game. Top NBA players dropping the ball, missing free-throws badly with high career percentages, guys left wide open for no reason, air balls all over the place. Conveniently Cleveland wins by just one. This is all hypothetical. I’ve said nothing

Cavs led by as many as 23pts in this game. The Spurs never led in this game. It’s amazing that the Final score was so close.

And just an observational comment from a long time George Gervin fan…these ridiculous Spurs uniforms are essentially a slap in the face to their pedigree. Why do NBA teams do this shit??? I can’t think of any exception where alternate uniforms add to their teams mystique…and yes, i totally realize that what they wear matters not at all to their performance but this trend in the NBA is completely ludicrous!!!

The Spurs badly need to fire Greg Popovich and hire a young, innovative coach. Similar to what the Lakers did. He’s nearly 80 years old, has chronic health problems and is unable to adapt to the modern game. SA will be irrelevant until they do this. It’s time.
