If the Cavs want to make the playoffs they need to utilize Sexton more. He’s by far their best scorer and he needs to be put in more one on one situations where he can shoot the ball or get the shooters an open look.

That was basically what they did all last year it didn’t work. Having him move without ball has worked great so far this year and when needed he takes the 1v1. Garland is just a better facilitator but I love how sexton has taken his role. More catch and shoot 3s and back door cuts he’s been perfect for the Cavs.

While I didn’t see the game, I’m encouraged by what I saw in the above video. The Cavs looked quick in the transition game, scoring on drives to the basket. Hopefully, this team will come of age, but it will be a while. Hang in there. Go Cavs!!!
