@Connor Lynch Love’s contract doesn’t even effect Cavs at all…. It’s not like Cavs need a max slot for a 4 or 5 star free agent since they’re not coming here, and by the time their core needs to be resigned, Love will be off the books. We have too many young players as it is, but if we wanted to, Love is an expiring next year so we can take on another lengthy shitty contract for some draft picks from a team who wants to clear a max slot for the 2023 FA class that features: Lebron, Harden, Wall, Westbrook, Beal, Kyrie, Embiid, Jokic, etc.

I think the Raptors blew the draft. Not hating on Barnes but Suggs looks legit. He clearly has the potential to be a superstar in the league. Barnes look solid as well for the Raptors, proving that his jumper is not broken (at least so far) as well as his upside on the defensive side of the floor but Suggs has shown a little bit of everything he has to offer. He’s also building up chemistry with Cole. So yeah, good pick for the Magic, they now have a legit centerpiece. As for Mobley, so far he has shown his skills both on offense and defense. Just like most young players entering the league, they need to work on their body, and Mobley has to do that since he has a skinny frame but surprisingly, he bangs bodies down low so I’d like to see him do it on much stronger guys when the season starts. I get the “he can definitely play alongside Allen” since he is very mobile for a 7 footer and has range. This draft looks really deep and entertaining.

You can not judge a draft pick off a few summer league games LMAO Let me remind you some players have done well in summer league and not in the real nba and vice versa. For example, Anthony Benett averaged 20ppg in the summer league and look what he turned out to be.

@Evan H. well yeah that’s going to happen since Fultz is still recovering from an ACL tear and even if he comes back he still needs a lot of time to get back in shape. And with how good Suggs already is and Anthony stepping up as well. He’ll most likely be coming off the bench. Ang might be soon on the move depending on the situation. I am a fan of Fultz and it’s a shame I have to say that but that’s what I truly believe

The cavs need to make stevens their starting 3, he’s got size, strength, and upside. The problem we have is the cluster with garland, sexton, and okoro in that backcourt. I think the trade for Rubio locks in garland as the starting PG now it’s a matter of if they want a small, but talented backcourt, or go with okoro and his size at the 2 and sacrifice some scoring at that position.

@Intended Expression but that is my point its only in the summer league and you play against some non legit players or should i say scrubs but cant put up good numbers and efficiency. of course ayton had struggles in his first year as a rookie because of adjustment he had to play against good bigmen in nba, if you think of it he was good in summer league but small adjustment when his rookie year, so how about mobley, he aint near aytons game in the summer league and yet not playing for real nba game and yet hes game is trash.

PG: fultz, Anthony, Suggs, Michael carter Williams.
SG: ross, Hampton, Harris,
SF:okeke, franz wagner potentially
PF: issac, Wagner’s okeke, carter jr
C: bamba, Lopez, carter jr.
this team is looking scary once they figure out each others strengths and weaknesses. The guards offensively and the forwards and centers defensively is gonna cause problems for other teams. Don’t sleep on what could be something special in 2 or 3 years with this team. They have a real solid rotation throughout games to keep attacking teams and running good pick and roll ball with fultz Hampton Anthony and suggs. They may not be the best defensively but that’s where the forwards come in to clean they mess that paint pressure of issac okeke Wendell carter and bamba and the Wagner’s is gonna be insane. Michael carter Williams can also help the guards out on the perimeter. Along with Terrance Ross if they need that defensive spark
