Anthony Davis’ 40-20 night sent a message about his injuries – Dave McMenamin | The Jump

Published

on

Rachel Nichols, Dave McMenamin and Richard Jefferson react to Anthony Davis tallying 40 points and 20 rebounds in Memphis Grizzlies vs. Los Angeles Lakers, what it means for his “injury prone” label, and whether AD can beat out LeBron James for the 2019-20 NBA MVP award.

AD gonna go out for the season with shoulder surgery, and that’ll be the excuse this year on why LeBron gets swept in the first round

0:33 true from Rachel. What Who Rich. Come on, watch the GSW now without Klay and Andre. They Stink. And he got even hurt because he can’t create his own shots as he is too small. Stop that nonsense like Curry is something KD-like, ’cause he isn’t. He is probably (and i think he is) the very best 3rd option ever = the best shooter. Chek the role of the n3 in many big 3 teams: shooter. Curry is the best we’ve ever seen on that role. But a third option can’t do much without the 1st and 2nd, especially if he can’t create his own shots. I think Klay and Andre and then KD just left on him the spotlight because he is mentally weak and needed that. Maybe him and the general world in that precise moment.

1:22 because people has grown disgustingly ungrateful those last years. Curry was the go-to-guy but in the crunch time. When needed? Always Klay had to carry those guys. Or Andre. Curry disappeared so many times, i think is totally disrespectful to say it wasn’t Klay’s team. Maybe yes, in the Regular Season, was all about Curry. In the Playoffs? Nah. They were a tag-team. And Klay and Andre were the two who had the guts in moments when it was needed most. We keep forgetting that a bit too much in my opinion

He is wrong AD being the fastest player ever to record a 40-20. WILT CHAMBERLAIN in his 100 point game had 69-20 at the end of the third. ESPN just making up stuff.

There is no way on earth, Anthony Davis, a better player alongside Bron. Bronn and D Wade had the best chemistry ever. Hands down!!!

Anthony Davis was so right for denying his injury to that female reporter. 😀😀😀😀😀
It would have created a negative environment prior to the game because reporters are “ambulance chasers.”
They create drama so they can report on that drama.

Management went against their own FANBASE to complete the New Orleans Pelicans trade.
Fans wanted to wait until Anthony Davis reached Free Agency because they didn’t want to lose fan-favorites Lonzo Ball & Brandon Ingram.

Lebron exchanged Kyrie Irving for Anthony Davis = his new son.
