It’s so much better for team chemistry when the franchise player emerges so organically and obviously that there’s no question who the best player on the team is going to be. Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun are very good, but it’s so clearly going to be Amen Thompson’s show, his talent and ceiling are levels above both of them. And because it’s so obvious, there’s much less in-fighting over “whose team is it” and all that bullshit. Look at the Nuggets: Jamal Murray would be a fool to have any delusions that he’s driving the Denver bus when Jokic is around.

Teams focus on Sengun, not Amen, that’s why Amen scores easily.

If we are just talking value added to a team, this dude is an all star caliber player. I haven’t looked at the stats but he has to have one of the best plus/minuses in the league.

All this talk about whether the Rockets can keep that 2 seed. This team has been playing batter and better lately. NOW, I’d be ok if they made the move for KD and Phoenix can have their picks back๐Ÿ™ƒ
