As a Sixers fan, this was the last time we were happy. Crowd was roaring, and we had DOGS. Now we’re led by soft losers.

Ah yes a dominant performance in a rigged series. Free throw discrepancy was completely asinine

A 6’0 able to beat prime Shaq to an MVP is better than Kyrie in my opinion.

Watching this made me understand why the allstar game draft doesnt work….because all year and playoffs you saw Iverson, Ray Allen, Vince Carter, Sprewell, TMac go at each other in the playoffs but on that one night they are teammates working together to beat Kobe Duncan Shaq KG…..with the draft their is no meaningfulness to the game.

What a crazy playoff season this was. In the East you had one seven-game donnybrook after another, and in the West the Lakers just killed everybody.

This game just shown how inefficient teams played back then, bad shots after bad shots

This game shows how little defense matters today and how easy it is to score now . Its almost like someone turned the difficulty setting of the NBA to beginner/rookie mode from the hardest difficulty.

It shows how tough the early 2000s were defensively.

    • fireice

      May 27, 2023 at 10:08 am

@RektScrub It is easier to score now because players skill got so good nowaday and teams executing plays so efficiently. Just look at this game, there were no pick and roll, there were no guards seeking mismatches, players dribbling into double team for a pullup with hand in the face. If you do that in today’s game you’re heading to the bench.

Iverson and Mutombo was a good tandem. if only Mutombo would have been a bit younger, and they had a couple more pieces for shooting and defense. Iverson never had a championship caliber team
