This is only the 2nd time in the NBA season where you can get the 10seed have a losing record, make the playoffs for playoff experience AND….AND, Get a high pick in the lottery.
Itβs not far fetched. THINK ABOUT IT.
This team has beat the BEST teams in the NBA, yeah only for 1 game BUT it happened. And they looked GREAT.
However, on the other hand I understand, think about those 4the qtrs where Steph is still on the bench until 6mins left, then checks in or guys arenβt in their correct spots for turn overs AND Kerr still playing with lineups.
It works in their favor.
Why?
Higher ratings for comeback or close game winner Wβs, Steph getting more comfortable with game winners, and if they lose, eh so what it fits in the gameplan.
The gameplan= get the high pick in the lottery (or 2, considering Timbs pick), and get the team playoff experience.
It makes THE BEST Business sense.
