Imagine a team that’s the 10th seed somehow win the play-in tournament and somehow make it all the way to the finals.

Why stop there. let say for some reason that 10th seeded team went all the way to be the champ.. that would be mind blowing.. that would hurt a lot if youre the top seeded team that got eliminated lol..

There’s no point in having a play in tournament to make the playoffs. They should just keep it the same as before. Playing extra games will only make the players more fatigue going into the postseason.

so with this new format, you could start at 10th place, eliminate the9th and the 7th at the play-ins, and then beat the 1st just to lose to the fifth. interesting…

    • Macabree

      April 8, 2021 at 11:15 pm

Pretty much although unlikely to beat 1st in a 7 game series if you were a 10th seed

    • Orhan G

      April 9, 2021 at 2:24 am

@Macabree then what’s the point playing all those games if it would be highly unlikely when you were 10th?
