Mavericks are really playing good right now and I know that this wasn’t the offensive output that we’re accustomed to seeing over the last few games but tonight was a grind it out game for Dallas and their defense stepped up in the biggest moments. Maxi Kleber was outstanding against Julius Randle tonight and made him look foolish on some of his shots. KP was decent tonight not the best going up against his former team in the Knicks but he played well in the 2nd half and he didn’t hurt the Mavericks chances by any means. As for Luka, I continue to say this time and time again that he is a MVP type of player. That 20 footer 3 point shot against Randle in that 4th quarter and backing it in was so tough that Luka was just laughing about it. Im telling you Luka plays the game at his pace and he truly is a Larry Bird/Magic Johnson type of player and his court vision is absolutely outstanding. If the Mavericks defense plays luke this with their highly talented offense, they can be really scary going into the playoffs and if I’m the Suns or Jazz right now, I wouldn’t be playing Dallas with the way that they have been playing in the last few weeks.

Big win tonight to get out of dreaded 7th seed play in seed. Mavs have about the easiest remaining schedule and although the Blazers are back at full strength, they have one of the toughest remaining schedules and they are right down to against the Bucks. Also, Lakers, without LeBron or AD, have one of the toughest remaining schedules. Starting to look very likely that Mavs will keep moving up after that horrendous 6 game losing streak (I think it was 6) early.

Great addition with adding Pelle. Great game, great pass few games for this team to learn their lessons. Keep gelling, keep having fun. Get plenty of rest and pass the freaking ball. You have the best defensive team in the league for a reason.
