The speaker called him “giannis” – “yanis” In the right way, other people call him wrong
    The speaker’s pronunciation WAS PERFECT!

His shot is so ugly, the years under Kidd and his shooting coaches F him up hard. When you look back at his first few seasons in the league, his shot feels way more natural.

And not to forget, his best teammate hasn’t scored 20 even once yet during the Playoffs.

If Giannis can grind both the quick draw and catch and shoot badges he will be the best player in the league.

The funny thing is that besides the 86 percent shooting (which is crazy btw), these stats seem pretty normal for Giannis. That’s kind of a ridiculous thing to think about

To everyone who thinks his isn’t impressive, this was one of the most efficient scoring playoff nights in the history of the NBA for a score of over 30 with 86 percent. Also he played only 30 minutes

Great performance but a little concern about the lack of post moves throughout the bubble games. We saw Giannis make those turnaround fadeaways in the regular season and gonna need it for Bucks to go all the way

Why does the announcer say Giannis name like that ?

    • Edge9404

      August 23, 2020 at 3:25 am

Because it’s the correct way to pronounce it.

    • Iraklis Kostakis

      August 23, 2020 at 8:14 am

Because that’s his name… It’s not how you call it. Every language has the correct way… The theird greek Gamma letter is transfered to G but it’s wrong. Gamma is not pronounced g…but wh like in “what”. So the the wh from “what” or “white”. Or even closer yeast.. so it’s “yeeAnees”. ..with the toming in the A

Giannis is averaging 31.3ppg/16boards/6.3asts vs the 8th seed Magic in this series so far. 2019 playoffs vs the 8th seed Pistons first round he averaged 26.3ppg/12.6boards/3.5asts. Those numbers vs the Pistons are considered “averaged” for Giannis cause how he set the standard for his dominate stat line, he’s putting up Shaq type numbers in this playoffs.

“YeeAnees” That is his Name at last.. It’s not how you call it. Every language has the correct way… The third greek letter Gamma Γ is transfered to G but it’s wrong. it’s “whama” with the wh from where or what. So Gamma is not pronounced g…but wh like in “what”. We take the the wh from “what” or “white” or even closer yeast and we have.. “yeeAnees”. ..with the toning in the A.

Giannis needs a championship to really shine. Now he has the underdog mentality which pressures him too much to evolve any further. If the Bucks get the championship this year, expect a new Giannis in the new season. A Giannis with the attitude, the self-confidence and the pride of a champion.
