Brandon ingram, luka was always this good, so he doesn’t count, and bam doesn’t make as much of a difference as BI

All three finalists greatly improved this season. But just a reminder that Trae Young averaged 19 points and 8 assists last season. He averaged 29 points and 9 assists this season and also had a 50 point game at the age of 21. I think that’s a pretty good improvement.

MIP of the year ranking 2020

  21. Noel Montanez

    August 8, 2020 at 11:19 pm

Adebayo and Luka where great already and of course have gotten better but its so obvious ingram deserves it more and improved most overall

  22. Sheree Wilkins

    August 8, 2020 at 11:19 pm

7:51 why Rudy gobert should not be defensive player of the year

Lonzo ball must be in the 3 finalist !!! Not bam adebayo !

For all the people saying “why Luka”, homie went from a solid starter averaging about 20, 5, and 5, to being probably fourth in the MVP vote averaging about 29, 9, and 9.
For all the people saying “where’s Graham?” He did improve, but not as much as these three. He really just got more touches and minutes. Also, his FG% is still bad.

    It should be Devonte Graham.

  28. trevorday

    August 9, 2020 at 5:22 am

I think Brandon Ingram should win tbh even though he’s against Luka and Bam, but Brandon has an interesting play style, you don’t know when he’s going to shoot and it goes in…. Big fan of him too!

  29. Milan Stupljanin

    August 9, 2020 at 7:03 am

THE FACT, for the first time, a player being a sophomore is not considered among general public as a disqualifying thing almost. THE FACT, LUKA was already a really good player last year and won ROY. CONCLUSION, LUKA IS INCREDIBLE. He wins this, just like he deserved and won all the awards so far. He is not skipping them

  30. Jad Papa

    August 9, 2020 at 8:32 am

As great as Luka is and as amazing as BI has shown us, Bam deserves this. Not only did he improve offensively but defensively as well. Just look at the highlights. Most if not all of Luka’s and BI’s are offensive moves and plays, whilst Bam is a combination of both.

  31. Kyle Austin

    Where is devonte

  32. Jxknz

    August 9, 2020 at 8:59 am

Luka and Brandon did improve this year alot but nobody knew who bam was (no offense) I feel like he should win it he was outstanding this year

    Americans are so bias dude
    There is no debate
Luka is not in the MVP list
So the only trophy he can get for now was MIP
Dont get me wrong luka is MVP caliber player winning games get in to the playoffs and putting up crazy numbers
While ingram improve on a losing team, I dont see them get in the playoffs + his stats cant be compared to what luka have
Bam got a chance but like i said , Luka is way more ahead than this 2 dudes
Mad respect for both of them but Overall MIP will goes to luka If NBA give it to those dudes
    Its pure BS and bias

  38. Hayden The Meme

    August 9, 2020 at 12:21 pm

BAM should win! Ingram might be better but Bam improved more!

    • Swarscoff John Ronquillo

      August 9, 2020 at 5:05 pm

but luka improved more than those 2 not even close……

  39. Billy Jean

    August 9, 2020 at 12:29 pm

Doesn’t matter what anyone did Luka is having a HISTORIC season. All time great season at 21 look at the numbers he’s been putting up in the bubble kids ready for the playoffs if everyone else on the Mav’s is having a decent shooting night they can still beat any team because of how good he is… Not Bam not BI not anyone can do that nevertheless in the second season

  40. Aitazaz Shah

    August 9, 2020 at 2:01 pm

Where is Siakam?? He has a good chance of winning it two years in a row, and hes not even here

  41. George Intzidis

Luka no cap he really be popping

  42. Vladimir Putin

    August 9, 2020 at 3:13 pm

Devonte Graham should’ve won this definetely, but he’s not being payed attention to bc he plays in the hornets and isnt and all star. Mans went from 4 ppg to 20 ppg in a season.

    • Adeel Hussain

      August 9, 2020 at 9:18 pm

That doesn’t mean much when u inefficient with poor net rating and not leading a team well when he plays (bad plus minus). He should be in the running but he’s not taking the jump that Bam Luka and Ingram took

  43. Twimbo

    August 9, 2020 at 3:45 pm

BAM! man went from being a non-starter last season to a dominant all-star this season. The other guys where pretty good already and just stepped up but most improved (not most valuable) has to be this guy.

  44. George 487

    August 9, 2020 at 5:17 pm

    Luka!!

  45. Japman Boparai

    August 9, 2020 at 6:20 pm

Devonte graham should have been a finalist over luka.
Luka is more of a mvp candidate mot mip why because last year he already proven that he is going to be a bright future for the nba.Devonte literally went from averging 4 points per game now he is the leading scorer in points, assists, and threes made for the hornets

  46. pepper cola

    August 9, 2020 at 6:32 pm

I don’t think a 2nd overall pick who is supposed to be playing like this should be considered for this award

  47. Doctor Doom

    August 9, 2020 at 8:22 pm

Luka Doncic says Devonte Graham should be in the list not him. I agree.

Not putting devonte graham here is a filthy move.

Luka diserve to get the MVP trophee. But he’s not black and he’s not American.

luka is not for MIP, luka is for MVP LEVEL!!!

  53. P. Kudom

    August 10, 2020 at 6:36 am

Too all the people saying Devonte Graham. YOU ARE CONFUSED. Don’t talk about PTS/G when he shoots almost 10% worse than your average NBA SG.

  54. Laat Kang

    August 10, 2020 at 8:01 am

I think Brandon Ingram should be most improved player because Luka was roty means he was great and also bam has been great last year as well

  55. GalaxieNickel

    August 10, 2020 at 8:56 am

Donkic should be in the MVP list

  56. Double 0 Melo

    August 10, 2020 at 9:04 am

What doesn’t makes sense to me is the fact that luka was rookie of the year last year why the hell is he on here😭😭😭

  57. Double 0 Melo

    August 10, 2020 at 9:05 am

They did Davonte Graham dirty. NBA executives don’t even know their own league

  58. Jay Prod

    August 10, 2020 at 10:06 am

    Melo should be in this

  59. Gaming YOUniverse

    August 10, 2020 at 11:18 am

I completely understand Ingram being the MIP because he went from 3 points per game to 30 but what about Christian Wood from the Detroit Pistons? He had a great year with them and he was dunking over everybody!

  60. 0rg1

    August 10, 2020 at 8:05 pm

Luka is closer to an MVP than an MIP
