Either AJ preller needs to go or Machado/Tatis need to go

Can’t get rid of them with their long term contracts. The GM needs to go.

Dustin may for tatis straight up…

He’ll come to stl and hit 2 grand slams in the same inning just like his dad😂😂

No absolutely not. Big Red has got to stay
We need the pitching worse than anything else.

@haroldhausman1672GM needs to go. Signed multiple players to long term contracts that haven’t panned out. Machado is going to be 34 and is in the 4th year of an 11 year contract. Tatis has no power.

@haroldhausman1672agreed, we have too many good hitters on the Cards and not enough quality pitchers. If the Cards pitching staff combined would give up 4.5 runs or even 5 runs over the course of this season, the Cardinals would win most games. With the Cardinals elite bats we don’t even need good pitching to win, we simply need average pitching to win most contests.

Great to see JJ and the young Cardinals get a few minutes of national attention.

Despite being a cardinals fan I was really cynical about the young lot but they are brilliant. I just wish the pitching was more consistent and I hate not having any big aces knocking around.

@ThatJoeGClift thankfully we have our ace in May! Has a 2.5 ERA since his first two starts. I know we could get some solid prospects for him, but I’d rather us let the season ride with him, and who cares if he walks for free. Amazing money spent.

@ThatJoeGClift You are like a lot of Cardinal fans that have lost their way. You forgot how to be a fan. Some folks need reminding, and when we lost Jack Buck, fans started acting like you. You aren’t a fan. You are just a gambler. You are tight with your support because they might lose.

Been a Cardinal fan since Brock broke Ty Cobb’s record, and this is the worst I’ve ever seen the fan base. There was a time that if fans saw their team struggling, they cheered louder. Now they scream DFA and cheer players getting sent down.

I love this team, but it’s gotten impossible to have friendly random chats with other fans, who think they have rip on the team to show that they are unbiased. I don’t know why a fan needs to be unbiased.

@teewhy6994 i’m still supporting them, but there’s a distinction between blind committent and liking a team enough to understand that weaknesses exist and are worthy of discussion. That’s how you improve. I’m also an Arsenal supporter and growing up in London, I’ve learned the hard way that a big part of growth as a team/organisation is frank discussion with and from a fanbase about what goes well and what doesn’t. It’s healthy. I’m a big fan of the young bats in the ranks. I’m happy with the direction we’re going, but we need some good starting pitchers. We just do. That’s not controversial. It’s a sport, not a cult. It’s not a matter of faith. It’s a matter of fact. You want blind faith? Go with God. You want a discussion about baseball? Go to Statcast.

Let’s go Cards been a fun year but don’t know how trade deadline going to go since we are supposed to be rebuilding I hope we just stay content and see what happens the rest of the year. I really think this team the way there playing can make the playoffs

Man that Mozeliak left a stench on this ball team. Sure does feel a lot more fun now that he’s not here
