   Tibs is a “culture builder”… There are different types of coaches, all great coaches aren’t made equal…. Honorable mention to Phil Jackson, with him none of this would be possible

    This is similar to how Mark Jackson did his part in building the culture in Golden State. But a change in coaching was necessary to get over the hump.

    The team was within a win or two of the NBA Finals last year and Haliburton was on a different level that season. Did you see the shots he was making? Give Thibs his roses with all his faults. The team was built, gelled and matured at the right time and Mike Brown might have stepped in to a ready situation that took them to the promised land. No class Dolan. No class.

    Nobody wants to work hard for an A-hole. Whether in a factory, construction site, office or locker room. We’re men not robots and it all about managing personalities and relationships.

    Less to do with coaching and almost everything to do with Indiana not being there. 2025 Indiana was ripped off in the finals and they were the best team of the four teams in the last 2 NBA finals. Better than the Knicks, OKC or Spurs, not even debatable.

    Thibbs is a winner. Every winner would feel some type of way when there EX-Team go on to win a chip right after them. I truly think Thibbs wish the best for the Knicks Players. He was probably happy himself that they won

    Trust me the coaching had nothing to do with it, Brunson trained harder than any player in the league, with his father making eat drink and sleep the sport. Desperate to get his son a big contract so he could get taken care of in his old age. His father never made close to a million dollars a year, off of his son’s money he’s living it up smoking cigars, and going to all the expensive events. No one trains any more, they just play with there cell phones, smoke pot, drink and think their great when their not, maybe 3-4 players in the league are world class players if that, overpaid, worthless in everyway have the players become. Because Brunson is so straight laced, he got some of the guys to buy into their passion, else they would be thinking about where to get the next drug drink or throw away their money on idiotic things, not even basketball players.

    4:20. Tibs takes mid teams and beats them until good, and finds a workhorse and rides that workhorse into the ground. In Chicago he lived in a hotel and had no life other than being a workaholic.

    We gotta give Tom Thibodeau credit where credit is due, the man built the team we just saw win a championship. There was still a chance that we could’ve seen him get the Knicks to the Finals this year. But Brown did a great job in trusting the bench and letting his starters get their rest, and got the job done because of trust in his players.

    When the Knicks were down 2-0 against Indiana last year and he started going deep in the bench, I felt it showed desperation. He got outcoached by Rick Carlisle that series
