Andre dropped more science 411 in this segment than Sam & John have in the last two weeks combined. Absolutely astonishing tennis mind.

No excuse? Andre not everyoneโs body is same. Everyone deals with heat differently. Times and conditions are different now than when u played. Itโs sinnerโs weakness but it doesnโt mean itโs something he can fix it overnight. FYI how many masterโs 1000 titles and grand slam titles did u win when u were 25? The answer is 3 and 1. At 24 Sinner now has 10 masters 1000 (including all 9) and 4 GS ( every one except RG). So ๐ making it seem like this guy is some average joe that u can trash talk. Sinner and Alcaraz are way above ur league. Thatโs why I always liked Sampras never u!

Andreโs attack wasnโt a personal attack, so I donโt know why you had to take it personally on Jannikโs behalf. Andre is simply giving his informed opinion on what he witnessed, and Andre definitely has the qualifications to back up his opinions.

Have you ever seen any of the greatest players tap out at 90mins of play? Rafa, Fed, Murray? Those guys all played hundreds upon hundreds of matches and even in their 30s have never shut down like that. It must be poor preparation if it wasnt an ilness. Also, if anyone can talk I think Agassi has more clout than most.

Yes, he has red hair and ginger body…which is more susceptible to breakdown in heat

Look, when Alcaraz dropped out of the French a month before, Sinner’s team (including his physio) had one and only ONE objective: keeping their man healthy and upright through 7 rounds in Paris. He couldn’t even make it out of round one. That’s a serious bust.
I think it’s possible due to his pale skin, Germanic heritage, maybe there’s a genetic reason he has difficulty with warm conditions (see: Spizziri in Melbourne, Carlos in Cinci, the default in China).

@user-u1u9s – Sinner won 6-1, 6-3, 6-4 in the first round. Not knowing that… is a serious bust.

Andre thinks he knows…. but he really doesn’t.
He does not know if Sinner had something going on with his health prior to that match.
Unless you are on his team… you just don’t know the full story.

I would imagine Agassi has never dealt with your mind or body just giving up. Sinner is amongst the most fit players on tour. 1 hour 45 minutes as a world number one is a fluke issue, this has nothing to do with ALL OF HIS MATCHES IN THE PAST. Saying there is no excuse doesnโt change the fact that it is clearly something Sinner could not overcome, otherwise he just doesnโt want to be a champion is what Iโm taking from Agassiโs take. Sounds like heโs blaming Sinner for not having a desire

umm it’s really funny how a (yes, granted a career grand slam winner) retired player, who confessed to be using and abusing during his playing days all of a sudden claims he’s a hydration and diet expert and has been during his playing days, I mean, Andre, we love you and I know you would not loose that match having 2 sets and 2 breaks in your favour, but please, you’re not a gold standard on hydration and nutrition…
@yussepig6629
June 4, 2026 at 5:15 pm
Agassi is right. Sinner avoided the topic because heโs in denial.

@orchidpanda2253
June 4, 2026 at 5:27 pm
I guess Agassi would know having won the first five Masters of the year coming into RG during an unprecedented heat wave when he was playing so he understands fatigue…. or no, sorry he didn’t ever do that.

The best player in the world doesn’t come to a grand slam unprepared.

Oh, Andre, your father certainly taught you well how to criticize others and the โ effecfsโ are still strong and visible, Mr. Opinions . We donโt know whether Sinnerโs heat-related defiances have a medical etiology. Itโs most possible that if his difficulties were โfixableโ as you nonsensically suggested, he would have addressed them since he has the means and resources.
Perhaps itโs just convenient for you to come on a show and open your mouth and speak out trash.
Why didnโt you solve your walking and feet issues, since in your opinion, there are no excuses for not fixing an issue?
