I’m 100% an OKC fan but lived in texas my adult life so I’m rooting for y’all to beat NY! The key is getting Wemby the ball because NO ONE can match him in the paint.

12:40 🇫🇷👽French journalist : Hello Victor, at this stage of the season, after everything you’ve been through in the playoffs and the physical toll of it all, do you think the excitement alone can carry you physically and carry the team physically? Or do you feel that at this point in the season it’s really starting to dig deep into your reserves?

Victor Wembanyama : It was definitely a tough series, but knock on wood. No injuries so far, and hopefully it stays that way. At this point, though, I feel like I could play this series and another one after it.

15:24 Another french journalist : Hello Victor, three years ago when the Spurs won the lottery and got you, you said that deep down you felt it was your destiny to become a Spur. Did you also feel that this destiny would lead you to the Finals at such a young age? And last summer you said something very interesting—that the challenges you had gone through had accelerated your development.

Wemby : Of course. Yes, I felt it, just like any dream, I guess. But during a season—and especially during a playoff series—you go through so many emotions that you don’t even have time to sit down and think about those things. The realization that we were in the NBA Finals, that we had just won the Western Conference Finals… all of that hit me during the last five seconds of the fourth quarter of Game 7. So managing all those emotions is a real challenge too. It’s huge. 👽

As a raptors fan im rooting for spurs so bad, ethical team, great players, great humans..the knicks are full of snobs- the players and fanbase need to be hunbled. Nick nurse was assistant coach the year he led us to a championship for raptors was the first yr of hesd coach ..mitch can do it, play the cards right, wemby needs to defend hard, block shots, rebounding will be key and pace ..first two at home are key to win

I don’t get why people are sleeping on the Knicks. Brunson can ball and if KAT hits his 3’s that’s gonna keep Wemby out of the pain and allow players to drive. I really hope we pull it off but im definitely not sleeping on the Knicks. GSG.
