   Number 2 for Santa Clara really lost the team the game u don’t have to try to be Superman u playing team that’s way bigger than u u shooting side step threes like u Jamal Murray and got it blocked twice he lost the game

   Ahhhh! The probation years. Remember them well. I was a bartender in Lexington KY (for those that don’t know that’s where UK is) during the Pitino and Tubby years. When the cats won the National, our bar got trashed! Broken tables and chairs, broken pinball machine, broken glass all over the floor, and several busted TVs! The good ole’ days.

      Eddie Sutton-Rex
      Rick Pitino-Mash
      Tubby Smith-Chuck Hayes
      Billy Gillespie-Jody Meeks(tubby recruited him)
      John Calipari-MKG(he was the leader of that team as a freshmen and unstoppable on the fast break and an elite defender.Mark Pope- Otega Oweh for now. ✌️GO CATS!!!

      @popcola1462I didn’t start watching Kentucky play until 1974 I was nine so I only count the eras I watched, but if I had to pick one it would be #44 Mr. Dan Issel.
