I question whether or not Wemby will stay healthy enough to win anything. The way he plays is not helping him in that department. He plays like a guard and it is opening him up to lower leg injuries. Kristaps Porzingis had that same exact problem and so does Anthony Davis… If you’ve noticed, Bigs/Centers back in the day didn’t get injured nearly as much as Wemby, Porzingis, or Davis because they stayed in the paint on both offense AND defense and didn’t move around too much. However Wemby is all over the place in both ends of the floor and trying to play too much like a guard and his body is not built for it. He got injured a few days ago trying to shoot a 3 after a player undercut him trying to contest his shot. He’s so tall that this is going to happen a lot in the future. Then a couple of days later, he got injured AGAIN trying to stay in front of SGA while he was driving to the basket… SGA is a guard, Wemby is not built to move like that. Mark my words, Wemby will not stay on the court long enough to win anything.

You overlook 1 major factor. Wemby trains like lebron. He goes out of his way to injury proof his body. He had a hyper extended knee, nd was back 2 games later. That same injury took jokic out for like a month. His coaching staff is also being very cautious with how they play him to lessen injury risk. If any big can break the mold and go against history, its him.
