It’s true, won’t happen in football like it does in basketball

    • @murph4lyfe

      December 21, 2025 at 2:26 am

And it don’t really happen in basketball either none of those teams actually win it either

    • @willfree01

      December 21, 2025 at 3:44 am

@murph4lyfe yeah no that is true, but like we’ve seen a 10+ seed get to the final 4, I don’t think we’ll see a G5 ever win a game even let alone advance to the final 4

    Champ Bailey is right

Last year Tennessee got blown out first round, Oregon got blown out 2nd round

    • @Chupacabra_4

      December 21, 2025 at 7:42 am

Bro u know they didn’t deserve to be there don’t play dumb. For example Oregon had beat Ohio state earlier in the year. James Madison or Tulane never were gunna be able to beat Oregon or ole miss

    • @JimmyFred321

      December 21, 2025 at 9:10 am

@Chupacabra_4 so they didnt get blown out? 😉

    • @TheRoadLessChosen

      December 21, 2025 at 10:25 am

@JimmyFred321it don’t matter. The chances of these small schools getting blown out is much higher.

    • @stubborndreams

      December 21, 2025 at 10:42 am

Oregon might have blown out at least half of the other teams anyways.. It just be like that sometimes at least Madison played their heart out

    • @bran2131

      December 21, 2025 at 8:14 pm

“Hey Oregon didnt play well against Ohio State, lets throw and even less talented team against them and see what happens” – terrible point. 😅

100% agree with Champ Bailey. Did either JMU or Tulane bring as much to a game as ND, Texas, Vanderbilt, BYU??? It is all about the new sponsor of sports, gambling.

  5. @Jay-R-Us

    December 21, 2025 at 7:55 am

Exactly! They wasted 2 playoffs spots on 2 teams that had no chance! Should have been Notre Dame & Maybe BYU in those spots..

    • @royalgardner3

      December 21, 2025 at 10:50 am

just like last year they wasted 2 spots on Tennessee and SMU

    • @michaelp2259

      December 21, 2025 at 1:49 pm

Shouldve been nd texas or vandy. I dont think byu was even that good. They got beat by almost 30 by the same team twice. Atleast bama did win the first game against ga early
In the year. But nd and texas had the players that if they played to there potential they could about beat any team at any time

What happened to D1 and D2??????

    • @DemetriusHarris-y2f

      December 21, 2025 at 2:42 pm

That’s based on money not prestige or talent my guy, Tulane is a D1 school

    • @christianshaw2450

      December 21, 2025 at 3:46 pm

@DemetriusHarris-y2f There 2 D1 levels. FCS and FBS

    • @DemetriusHarris-y2f

      December 21, 2025 at 3:52 pm

      @christianshaw2450thts not wht he asked

    • @christianshaw2450

      December 21, 2025 at 4:02 pm

@DemetriusHarris-y2f JMU and Tulane. Would beat the breaks off D2. Would be worst than their loss in the 1st round. Yall people forget JMU moved up to FBS for a reason.

    • @DemetriusHarris-y2f

      December 21, 2025 at 4:07 pm

@christianshaw2450what are u telling me that for😂😂😂i said D1 and D2 isn’t about talent, its about money, what are u going on about, u wanna argue with strangers so bad

  8. @dom19945

    December 21, 2025 at 9:32 am

It’s virtually impossible for JMU to beat a team like Ohio State in a “Cinderella” run. What are we even talking about.

  9. @WarNvrChanges

    December 21, 2025 at 9:48 am

He speaks facts, but peoples feelings out weigh facts nowadays

  10. @netdragon256

    December 21, 2025 at 12:43 pm

Stop the ESPN greed mongering. Tulane and James Madison are probably perfectly happy to have had the opportunity and the money and the Miss and Oregon fans probably loved watching these double-digit wins at home.

  11. @al9685

    December 21, 2025 at 2:05 pm

College Football is not College Basketball

The 12 team playoff is beautiful. But a G5 team should never be in the playoff unless they are ranked inside the Top 12 of the College Football Playoff Poll.

  12. @BobbyM817

    December 21, 2025 at 2:12 pm

To be fair, Miami and A&M didn’t belong in the playoffs either after what they did in College Station yesterday.

    • @BUCKStrickland-c7t

      December 21, 2025 at 2:32 pm

You are a fool. Two top defenses, I’m 20mph wind with 35 mph gusts. Did you even watch the game?

    • @bran2131

      December 21, 2025 at 8:15 pm

Defenses are part of football too.

  13. @JCforever10

    December 21, 2025 at 2:40 pm

If it’s such a problem then make g5 schools fcs then, if not, then everybody deserves a shot. Get over it

    • @johnnyrotten9757

      December 21, 2025 at 4:44 pm

If they keep it the way it is then all we’ll ever have is blowouts just like yesterday. Face it, Cinderella aint dancing in college football

  14. @rangers1519

    December 21, 2025 at 2:42 pm

Line of scrimmage wins the game. A&m in the sec and does not have the hogs to compete.

  15. @HoggDaddy88

    December 21, 2025 at 3:06 pm

    Abosolutley right.

  16. @iamathousandapples

    December 21, 2025 at 3:18 pm

SEC and Big 10 actively do not want cinderellas. And buy game losses happen all the time. Why even have the playoffs just let the committee decide who’s #1 and hand them the trophy

  17. @n.o.n_tae

    December 21, 2025 at 3:32 pm

I was just explaining this to my son. It is extremely rare for this to happen in the game of football. Especially now that you can pay student athletes to transfer to your program legally

  18. @channonmiles2125

    December 21, 2025 at 4:27 pm

NCAAB got two tournaments that both end up with championships and it works

  19. @sams9732

    December 21, 2025 at 4:44 pm

New York Giants we’re a Cinderella story

  20. @SportsSinner

He’s more right than wrong 🤷‍♂️

  21. @ASTROamerican45

    December 21, 2025 at 8:42 pm

So what? We talking about a separate playoff for these G5 teams? I kinda like that idea

  22. @PQ2641

    December 21, 2025 at 9:07 pm

    Champ so handsome 🫢

  23. @bubbadiesel4961

    December 21, 2025 at 9:16 pm

    So segregation lol

  24. @cbreezy1322

    December 21, 2025 at 10:30 pm

Have those 2 “we deserve a spot teams” play each other and serve the winner up to the number one seed! No way a #6 and whatever the other team was should get easy games.
