I don’t get why they think calling more fouls or having more refs or “cleaning the game up” will “change” the game of 1v1 that we all love.
I could see what he means from a players perspective, but.. from an entertainment/business/ the viewer’s perspective, we hate all the fouls.
We love the trash talk and the rivalries and toxic energy. But we hate seeing fouling basketball.
Yall can still put out a great product of 1v1 basketball even with cleaning up the calls. I don’t think it would diminish the game from a viewers perspective at all. Only uplift.
