The Brooklyn Nets earned their first win of the season with a 112–103 victory over the Indiana Pacers. Michael Porter Jr. led the way for Brooklyn with an impressive 32 points, 11 rebounds, four three-pointers, and three assists. Nic Claxton contributed a strong all-around performance, finishing with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, while Noah Clowney added 17 points and four rebounds off the bench.

For Indiana, Pascal Siakam paced the team with 23 points, six rebounds, and nine assists, and Ben Sheppard chipped in 18 points, four rebounds, and three assists.

The Nets capitalized on turnovers, scoring 23 points off Indiana’s mistakes compared to the Pacers’ 16. With the result, both teams now sit at 1–7 on the season.
