@@moviescatsmargsPlus, the pacers are a running team, and the Knicks don’t really have a bench. So if the series goes 6/7, the knicks are gonna be really tired.

    • @moviescatsmargs

      May 19, 2025 at 3:51 pm

@@CashSports47 Knicks don’t really get tired because their starters are uses to playing 36 minutes a game in the regular season. I agree that the Pacers have shocked people who weren’t expecting them to win series before this one but once star players on the other side go down or play hurt, it does dramatically shift expectations. Knicks have home court advantage too, so you’re expecting the Pacers to go into MSG and win 2 games on the road to take the series in 5 games. I think there is definitely an avenue for the Pacers to win but it goes 6 or 7 games.

Being in Florida I had to pick up league pass to watch them play but anyway I noticed in March they really started training for the playoffs, they worked on their defense and got much better then they learned how to close out games. The only weakness I see in those game at this point is rebounding and I wouldn’t be surprised if Rick & Co do much better for series

Pacers in 6 its so obvious Knicks are gonna get hurt. They aint use to the pacers fast style of play. I dont want NY to get hurt but its gonna happen. Pacers play with to much pace and physicalness. Plus them in the finals would be great for the NBA they are so much fun to watch even my wife likes watching the pacers play and she dont like basketball!!

The fact that we get to witness an NBA team win their first championship (except the New York Knicks which already won in 1970 and 1973) is a history in the making. As much as I love the New York Knicks (especially the fans who have been supporting the team for over 50 years since they won) get to bring the title back to New York, I think Indiana deserves much love more. Indiana has never won an NBA championship not even one. The only time that Indiana won a sports championship was when Indianapolis Colts won a Super Bowl championship back in 2007. I have confidence that this will be the time that Indiana will get their title for the first time. When LeBron James tweeted his admiration for Tyrese Haliburton when they won against Cleveland Cavaliers, I thought the King perhaps does not support high-profile, most valuable teams that are overhyped by the media to win but rather a dark horse team from a city with a desire to be known for its highly competitive, emerging sports culture that values and supports its community so much. Dare I say, #YESCERS!!!!!!!!

Indy has 3 guys who can run the point at a high level and usually 2 are playing at once. The Pacers have so many ways they can hurt you and they know it and Rick Carlisle knows it. Cleveland and Milwaukee were able to disrupt their flow but only once and Rick had them more than ready for the next game. So many guys can score on this team it’s crazy and they play together as a unit 🔥
