Thibs low-key an a hole. I can see him up 40 in the fourth subbing the starters INTO the game just to be petty and crush his opposition while the Celtics clearly waved the white flag. I love it! 😭😭😭

That’s why I never understood why free agent superstars never really entertained signing with the Knick’s??. If you win there you would literally be immortalized in the city.

  31. @corralcesarm

    May 17, 2025 at 3:21 pm

Tom Thibodeau’s obsession on playing the initial 5 almost until the last minute even when they are up by 30 knowing that you have the ECF ahead. That’s simply bad coaching and not understanding that injuries happen. No wonder he will never win a championship with this methodology.

Thib should’ve benched his starters at the start of the 4th quarter or at least when it got to 100 pts. Joe clearly forfeit when he put his bench on the floor

There for the run in 1969-70 and 72-73, at Garden, just a great crowds as these. Good to see the Knicks from 69-70, Bradley and Clyde. And Latrell, Starks, etc., etc. NYC was a great town in the 60s to the late 70s for everything, Jazz, B’way (affordable); great salsa venues for dancing, etc. etc.
