      Not a charge … the NBA has rules. The defender took a position when the dribbler had no ability to change direction or stop his dribble. He was already in the act of shooting and had gathered the ball and picked up his dribble before the defender took his position.

      Section II—By Dribbler

      If a defender is able to establish a legal position in the straight line path of the dribbler, the dribbler must avoid contact by changing direction or ending his dribble.
