Nuggets are clearly not a serious team and certainly not contenders. Their coach–Michael Malone–decided it wasn’t important enough to show up for their game v the Pelicans on Friday because he wanted to watch his daughter play volleyball. Uh, what!!? I’ve never seen that before in NBA history. Jamal Murray–who’s been hot trash since last spring and got a max contract–decided to fly to Vegas the night before the Memphis game tonight and played like sh-t in that game. Jokic decided to skip multiple games I guess for the birth of a child. One game I get. Not multiple games. Did I mention this isn’t a serious team?

Jamal Murray at this point is in the “thanks for the memories” phase of his career with Nuggets fans, which is insane because he’s not (a) old or (b) overly injured. He just seems to be unmotivated.

At 8:22 enjoy the sight of Westbrook on the fast break running right into the path of Jamal Murray, trying to dribble. Ball is stolen as Pippen easily can cover both guys and Murray gets slowed down. Classic Westbrook, boneheaded and expects the ball to be in his hands, doesn’t know what to do.

I’ve been saying this since the start of the 2023-2024 season. Murray is pure trash. The problem is that the Nuggets front office keeps screwing Jokic by handing out contracts to abysmal players like Murray and MPJ (Jamal Murray has got to be the most mediocre #2 option ever). This past offseason was the perfect opportunity to get rid of those bums and surround Jokic with a solid #2 option and other key pieces to win a Championship. Still, sadly, we’re potentially looking at another year of his prime being WASTED. They need to get him an All-Star caliber #2 asap, or Denver will never win a Championship again.

This summer I called Murray a role player on Twitter and folks wanted to kill me. Look at him now 😂

Murray gotta be the biggest fraud in the league 🤣🤣 just shows how elite Jokic really is, the Nuggets are in the Cooper Flagg chase without him there lmao

They should have still been able to beat the Grizzlies and Pelicans without Zion Williamson and Dejounte Murray out. And Ja Morant and Desmond Bane out. No excuses….
