People making statements about embid playing in the Olympics is crazy. He played less than half of his average playing time and was not the main go to player for the team. Give me a break

Both Mad Dog and Stephen A made valid arguments regarding JT’s Olympic situation, but Stephen A has the edge here.
1. Tatum was the most recent NBA champion, alongside Jrue Holiday and Derrick White. To not play a Champion for 2 games? Seems disrespectful to me.
2. When the roster was formed, it was KD, LeBron, Kawhi, and Tatum at the SF spot. However, Kawhi withdrew and was later replaced with Derrick White. So, that left KD, LeBron and JT at the SF spot. You mean to tell me, if Kawhi was on the roster, he would have been a DNP alongside Tatum because KD and LeBron were on the roster as well?
3. Tatum, like LeBron can play 4 positions. LeBron for the most part of the Olympics was a Point Forward at the 1 spot. You can have Tatum at the 3 and KD at the 4. Or have LeBron and KD play the 3 and 4 respectively, and have JT sub in for either one of them when they need to rest.
4. Tatum led the Celtics in points, rebounds, and assists in the NBA Finals. Only one other player on the USA roster did that – LeBron James. What does that tell you?

Take that Stephen A. Warriors beat Celtics. Tatum a baby man who can’t accept his free gold medal. Gotta cry about it. There’s like 6 games in the Olympics, you gotta play what is working, you don’t have a season for you to figure out how to play all the guys you got. Thought he was a professional, not a toddler. Glad Celtics lost.

No I do not feel the suspension is fair: you people be “picking and choosing” who receives leniency. I hate to bring up old news, but how does Draymond Green get dealt with the way he did for being violent? And Embid gets a 3 game suspension for a first offense shove. I’m just making a point because Mr. Green has held himself responsible for his actions and moved on….
