The New York Knicks defeated the Indiana Pacers, 130-121. Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 24 of his 29 total points in the second half as OG Anunoby (28 points) and Donte DiVincenzo (Playoff career-high 28 points, along with 6 rebounds and 4 assists) added 56 points for New York. Tyrese Haliburton led the Pacers with a Playoff career-high 34 points (7 3PM) along with 9 assists. The Knicks now lead the best-of-seven series, 2-0, with Game 3 taking place on Friday, May 10, 7:00 PM ET, ESPN.

In tonight’s game, the Knicks had three players with 25 or more points (Jalen Brunson – 29; OG Anunoby – 28; Donte DiVincenzo – 28). This is just the second time that the Knicks have had three players with 25 or more points in a Playoff game
Previously – April 20, 1974, in the Eastern Finals v the Milwaukee Bucks:
Willis Reed – 32 points
Dick Barnett – 27 points
Bill Bradley – 25 points

Josh Hart has now recorded 102 rebounds in the first 8-games of the Playoffs for the Knicks. He’s the first Knick since Patrick Ewing (109 rebounds from June 5 to June 22, 1994) to record 100+ rebounds over an 8-game span in the Playoffs.

Hart is the first Knick to record 100+ rebounds in the FIRST 8 GAMES OF A POSTSEASON run since Dave DeBusschere (113 rebounds) and Willis Reed (111 rebounds) did so from March 25, 1971 to April 11, 1971.

T.J. McConnell sets a Pacers’ Playoffs record for most assists in a game by a player who came off the bench with 12 assists tonight vs the Knicks, Previously, the high was 9, done by six players, once by McConnell himself.

This Knicks team is so good just of hard work , heart , effort but it will come to an end because they are missing 2 pieces , losing Mitchell Robinson was a huge loss , but if your a knicks fan you gotta love this team and hope the front office makes the right moves to get this team a chip in the window they have.

Not saying they can’t win it all cause their grit can run with Boston for sure but at some point what they lack will bite them.

I badly want to see Pacers or Knicks beat Boston so go Knicks.
