Hindsight is 20/20 but still, some team couldve drafted both fox and tatum

Kings could have drafted Fox and Donovan Mitchell! Coulda shoulda woulda (they also could have paired Fox and Luka, and IF it doesn’t work you have two incredible talents to use one as trade bait).

      August 1, 2023 at 7:48 pm

I am a Kings fan and Fox is my favorite player in the nba, but I always said the only player from his draft class I would trade fox for is Tatum (not even realistic I know). But to combine the two?! Omg!

Or for some years I have pondered the Kings somehow landing Jaylen Brown. He and Fox would be an absolute force. Dreams lol

How does it feel that the Steph Curry dropped half of what the entire Kings team scored and eliminated you guys from postseason. Sacramento Kings more like Sacramento Peasants. Go Warriors. Kings still suck.

      Oh, you! So silly! ????????????

    • No0pe…

      August 1, 2023 at 8:13 pm

It took fox breaking his finger, Kings not rebounding as a team AT ALL, and their best shooters shooting 20% from 3 on top of curry putting up 50 to in a SEVENTH game to eliminate these “lowly Kings” ????

ONE of their shooters shoots avg, Kings take it. One. Not all three. Clear who the better team was despite the outcome but stay hating as your gsw crew ages out of the nba

      Easy.

    • No0pe…

      August 1, 2023 at 7:54 pm

I have seen every nba game fox has played and I will say now, he almost never hits his full burst speed. He goes 8/10s at max most times. If he does hit max it is for a second or two but it’s absolutely mind blowing.

His first two szns he ran more and did less hesi type stuff and general change of pace, check out Fox highlights from 18-19 season and you may see some of his fastest drives. The one where he literally drives past the entire Utah team is amazing lol.

    • No0pe…

      August 1, 2023 at 7:55 pm

As for the burst stuff, I am just guessing based on years of observations but also I am insanely fast myself (without a ball) and have always had an “extra gear” that others around me did not, and Fox is no different. Just like me, he has said he was just always faster than everyone it isn’t something he trained for or tried to do. Not saying there aren’t tons out there with this extra gear, just saying Fox has one and he rarely uses it because he doesn’t even have to

      Can tell I’m a Fox fanboy ????

Bro has speed, strength, and athleticism no wonder he’s so hard to stop. He’s basically unstoppable at this moment in his career, also I think this is his peak years. He isn’t a great shooter so drives and the middy are his best right now I wish him the best of health, if he can stay healthy next year and the kings can be good I can see him in MVP convos. Like I said these are his peak years similar to D Rose and Westbrook slashing guards only have a little bit to give before they become basically role players. The bad shooting is a hinder.

    • No0pe…

      August 1, 2023 at 7:45 pm

He isn’t a bad shooter lol. He also doesn’t always rely on speed especially if you compare year three and beyond Fox to his first two years where he played more like Ja running full speed always. Male body peaks physically at 27, he turned 25 in Dec. He is hardly sniffing the absolute beginning of his prime. And shooting can literally be improved at 35yrs old

    • John Doe

      August 1, 2023 at 10:00 pm

@No0pe… ugh I promise I ain’t trying to hate here but fox shot 32% from 3 this year and 33% from 3 in the postseason this year. For his career he’s shot 32% from 3. That’s not great for a guard especially in the league now a days. Also I know he doesn’t just abuse his speed or spam it like it’s 2K or something, his handle is very clean one of the more underrated ones in the league. However his change of speed from slow to fast when attacking the rim counts as him using his speed to beat defenders. He’s elite at finishing and yes he can improve but typically if your shooting is still this bad by year 6-7. It most likely means you won’t ever be a good shooter, he just doesn’t have that natural touch.
