Finally, Spoelstra had the good sense to not play Love his usual 10 to 20 minutes. He kept him off the court the entire game. That guy has been anywhere from mediocre to complete garbage since the day he left Minnesota. The only reason he’s been so loudly overrated by media people all these years is because…and let’s be honest here: he’s a white American. White Americans who play actual game minutes in the NBA is like finding a piece of 14-karat gold in your dog’s turds. I mean, it rarely happens.

If I remember correctly when they reviewed the foul on Butler and decided it was a 3 point shot they also put 3 seconds on the clock, it was 2.8(?) before the review?
That was the .2 seconds which allowed the final tap – in of Smart’s shot. Had they not reviewed and awarded the 2 shot foul instead then Whites tap in would have tied the game for overtime.
I think that’s correct….AMAZING FINISH, SIMPLY AMAZING.

Chuck’s point is the heat played bad and still lost at the buzzer. But it’s the same on the other end, celtics only made 7 threes and still managed to pull off some miracle. It’s definitely heartbreaking for the heat no matter what chuck says.

Question: why was bam’s block a goaltend? LeBron touched the rim back in 2016 finals on his block but they didn’t call anything…
I would think both of them should not be goaltending because the ball doesn’t have a chance of going in the hoop, but any insight on this would help me out!
