      February 16, 2023 at 10:08 am

As a rockets fan I want Silas gone I’m ok with tanking but he’s not even trying to develop the roster they play like an AAU team it’s so frustrating to watch

    • Christian Champagne

      February 16, 2023 at 10:15 am

@Lambo Geeskiii  Silas might be a good coach for a team that’s already developed but he’s a horrible coach for one that’s currently developing.

    • Randy Graham

      February 16, 2023 at 11:03 am

Sengun is — or was — a player who passes and sets picks. On the scatter brain style of play of the Rockets, it’s kind of wasted. Sengun is not a good defender but he’d develop nicely on a team like Boston or even OKC that passes the ball and runs plays.

    • ItsFootballnotSoccer

      February 16, 2023 at 12:50 pm

@Randy Graham we drafted him actually but sent him to Houston for 2 second rounders on draft night which angered many of us cuz we rated him. Oh well we ended up making it work with JRE but Alpie should’ve come too so we take 5 players in the draft. It would’ve worked cuz we would’ve still dropped Krejci, Maledon, Jerome, Favors or one of them!

Thunder need to trade for someone like a miles turner and it’s over

    • ElSombraRegio7

      February 16, 2023 at 7:42 am

      No need

    • Randy Graham

      February 16, 2023 at 11:07 am

Turner is talented but VERY inconsistent. And he’s not cheap salary wise. If Holmgren is healthy next year they’re good. But they should draft another center.

    • ItsFootballnotSoccer

      February 16, 2023 at 12:53 pm

He can’t facilitate as good as we’d like our center to do and isn’t an overall great ball handler and shooter. If you look OKC is only drafting players that can do it all

He was a disaster pick for the Rockets…. they passed on 4 really good players to draft a guy who just shoots.

Shai is a superstar playing in a small, irrelevant market OKC. If he was in LA, Chicago, or N.Y. he’d have a signature sneaker deal and would be on national TV all the time!! Dude is a baller!!

He’ll be back on national tv next year. OKC will make a big leap next year. Bookmark this comment.

  32. NoGloveNoLove32

Rockets organization looks awful but I can’t criticize them because they’re just a Wemby or Scoot pick plus plenty of cap space away from competency, but man, it must be tough as a fan watching this team play

    • Marcus L

      February 16, 2023 at 11:51 am

and what if they end up with the 3rd or worse pick? they’re cap space isn’t really a factor bc no one wants to go there.

    • dre men

      February 16, 2023 at 7:12 pm

@Marcus L and they don’t develop young players so that adds to it.

Rockets are horrible and they had good young pieces around them. Coach needs to be fired

  34. Randy Graham

    February 16, 2023 at 11:31 am

#2 pick in the draft seems to be very unlucky recently. Jalen Green at #2 was a huge mistake as Rockets passed on Mobley, Barnes, Giddey, Franz Wagner — all better players. Suggs may end up a better player as well. Warriors draft Wiseman at #2, passing on LaMelo, and now the Warriors dump him for nothing as a bust. Kings draft Marvin Bagley at #2, passing on Luka and Trae, and now have dumped him as useless. OKC drafts Holmgren at #2 and he immediately suffers a major injury.
Let’s hope Chet recovers and has a good career — and breaks the #2 blues.

Does the two NBA teams, the Houston Rockets (which they belong in the Southwest Division of the Western Conference) and the Oklahoma City Thunder (which they belong in the Northwest Division of the Western Conference) have Southern roots? Did they play last night because they are Southerners?

Houston is a mess. They should’ve drafted Ivey @ 3, IMO. I know they thought that Banchero was a lock @ 3 which had to be a gut punch when Orlando took him….then Smith it was. With only 1 year body of work you never know some thought Smith was better than Banchero which in retrospect seems criminal.

To me if Ivey hits 3’s like he’s been in the 2nd half of the season he’ll avg 30 ppg in his prime fairly easy. Ivey’s blow-by is unbelievable
