Mitchell is my favorite player in the NBA to watch his explosiveness, athleticism, and shooting is top tier.

Donovan has taken this young cavs team to new heights this year. He has been their best player.

He was on fire but let’s not act like refs weren’t carrying him to that record *(cough)* *lane violation*

You know that 2 minute report also said Donovan Mitchell didn’t foul the Bull player that hit the two free throws that put the Bulls up 3 in the first place right? If you gonna reverse history, don’t be selective. Tell the Bulls to stop fouling him on the drive in the third quarter because every single one of those were fouls. That’s not the refs’ fault

@Omar Holder Check the 2 minute report again, idk what you’re talking about. That wasn’t the only missed call that hurt the bulls, Jarrett allen also traveled, Bulls didn’t have any incorrect calls in their favor. Bulls were sloppy and shouldn’t have let it get to that point, but fact is the refs greatly impacted the momentum of the Cavs as well.

Not to mention that it came because of a lane violation missed call. If they called it, Spida would’ve ended with 56 and a L. But hey, a win is a win.

    • Jameson Key

      January 11, 2023 at 4:15 am

@Vinsuka Kannangara o right, that lane violation was why he scored 71. Not because he made tough shots or anything. You can say it made it possible for him to score more but to say it was because of lane violation is goofy

    • Vinsuka Kannangara

      January 11, 2023 at 4:19 am

@Jameson Key you’re inferring a lot here. But yeah that is the general idea. If they called the lane violation the knicks win and spida remains at 56. Still a great effort tho.

Glad Donovan is out of “draining” Utah. Good riddance.

Like Jordan Clarkson said: “They’ve shown love since I’ve been here. Whatever other people say about it —opposing teams and opposing fans — it’s way different.”

I cannot believe you losers are still crying in the comments over a lane violation. And if you want to get real technical go look at Vucevic, he was in the lane before Donovan released the ball.

    • eric reyes

      January 11, 2023 at 5:37 am

Players in marked lane spaces can enter the lane upon release. Not the same thing.

    • Jaime Garcia

      January 11, 2023 at 3:07 pm

Nobody’s crying, just pointing out that the refs missed a call that decided a game. Nothing new unfortunately.

    • Rodney Malott

      January 11, 2023 at 5:26 pm

@eric reyes yes they can enter the lane after the player releases the ball, but vucevic was in the lane wayyyyy before Donovan released the ball from his hands so that’s a lane violation also
