He’s not at all happy. Going from Salt Lake City to Cleveland is a lateral move. It’s not an upgrade by any stretch. What you don’t see in this clip is what Stephen said at the start. He says about Donovan: “I was with him the other night. He knows how hurt he is…”. Then Stephen quickly rephrases his response. So Donovan admits he’s hurt that he isn’t in New York and is stuck in Cleveland for a few years.
