Devin Booker or Brandon Ingram: Who has been better this season? | The Jump

Published

on

Rachel Nichols, Brian Windhorst and Kendrick Perkins discuss whether the injury timetable of New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson means he’s losing his chance to win 2019-20 NBA Rookie of the Year, particularly with Ja Morant playing so well. They then (2:11) preview Suns vs. Pelicans, and debate whether Phoenix guard Devin Booker or NOLA’s Brandon Ingram has been better this season.

Jrue- Ingram- Zion… could be the most dominant big 3 of the beginning of the decade.

Rachel’s ROY argument is flawed. It’s a regular season award based on a body of work. Not projections…

Zion hasn’t even played 1 minute of regular season NBA basketball, *yet* … and people are acting like this is the 1995 return of Michael Jordan. Smh. The kid is still a rookie. Ain’t like he’s about to step on the court and take the 6-16 Pelicans to the title. Everybody needs to pump them brakes & give the young fella time to get acclimated to the NBA game. Seriously.

I would give it to Ingram. A more intriguing question who will be better in five years?
